Gardenia Loaf Spicy Pudding

Today recipe is Gardenia Loaf Spicy Pudding, original creation with a touch of Malaysian. A simple recipe to make with radical diversion of eating. This simple to make delicacy, will be an alternative for breakfast or maybe dinner with your family. Extremely delicious, a genuine gourmet, home made and first of kind maybe. You may have known about bread pudding which is a sweet savory for dessert in many western home. However, I create a new pudding which is more favored by people in this part of the world, hot,spicy and tangy.Looks like pizza but this is not pizza at all. OK let us find more how this deli is made!!

  • 1 Extra Size Loaf Gardenia White Bread
  • 2 Cups of flour
  • 1 and 1/2 Cup of Water
  • 1/2 Cup of Low fat milk
  • 1 Tsp of dry yeast.
  • 5 Eggs
  • 1 Tsp Salt (to taste)
  • 1 Tbsp of Sugar
  • 1 Tsp of Pepper Corn
  • 1 Tbsp of finely chopped Garlic
  • 1 Cup of Chilly Sauce - any brand will do
  • 1 Cup of cheese ( any type)
  • Slices of Capsicum/tomatoes/Onion ring / Mushroom
How to prepare and bake.
  1. In bowl with a cup of water sprinkle the yeast,add 1 cup of flour,                                                   milk and  make smooth poolish,add in sugar and let it rest for about 15 minutes.
  2.  Dice all the bread into 1/2" size, separate the crusted edge.
  3.  In another bigger bowl,add in all the eggs,whip it briefly than,put in the non-crusted diced bread until the diced bread evenly soak. Add in the salt,pepper corn,chopped garlic and mix well.
  4. Add in the poolish, into the bowl of soaked dice bread and add in 1/2 cup of water.
  5. Gently,add in the remaining flour and mix it. Use your fingertip to thoroughly to make a smooth sticky dough. The texture should be sort of a batter and soft dough.
  6.  In a well oil, rounded or square baking pan fill in the mix evenly. The crusted dice bread spread it sparsely on top.
  7. Bake it for about 30 minutes at 180 degree Centigrade, take it out from the oven and spread on top chilly sauce lavishly.
  8. Spread well slice bell capsicum, slice tomatoes, onion rings and slice mushroom. Sprinkle with pepper and salt.
  9. Finally, top it with cheese. You may use mozarella,parmesan of slice of cheddar.
    Put it back into the oven and baked for another 15 minutes.
